In our agreement with the City of Tyler, the Children Are A Gift Foundation is responsible for ongoing seasonal plantings and capital improvements to The Children's Park. Our goal is to keep the park beautiful, safe and functional for all of our visitors.

In Need of New Light Poles
If you've seen the news lately, you have probably heard about the recent vandalism in The Children's Park. We believe part of it is due to inadequate lighting. Most of the original lighting was placed on trees and many of those trees have since died. As a result, we are very low on our lighting. Our goal is to raise the money necessary (approximately $25,000) to install 5 new light poles to restore the original lighting.

On a positive note, we were excited to have the opportunity to share both over television and in the paper that we hope those who vandalized they park know that The Children's Park was built for them too, to celebrate their lives because they are gifts and that they were created for much more than that!Â
